Heritage is located ¼ mile from Highway 45 and 1 ½ miles from downtown Conroe.  Directly adjacent to the community is Candy Cane Park that features a large Community sponsored fitness facility with state of the art fitness equipment, indoor classrooms for fitness and a large indoor and outdoor water park and slides.  Conroe is a perfect mix of starry nights and city lights putting us 40 miles from Houston.  Conroe is the fastest growing city in Texas and Montgomery County is one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S.  We are less than 10 miles from Lake Conroe which features 156 miles of shoreline and 254 square miles of national forest – Sam Houston National Forest.  In the forest you will find the longest continuous hiking trail in the state of Texas, The Lone Star Hiking Trail.  We are situated 25 miles from George Bush Intercontinental airport and 48 miles from William P Hobby Airport.  If the beach is something you want, a drive of 81 miles will get you to Galveston, Texas.  The community is within walking distance of great restaurants, shops and don’t forget the downtown area where there is an abundance of art galleries and live music at many venues in the trendy downtown area.  Two very large and famous hospitals are located in The Woodlands, which is less than 9 miles away – St. Lukes Methodist Hospital and Memorial Hermann.
